Easy Master's Party Food Menu

Master's food collage with white descriptive text.

It's our favorite weekend of the year - Master's Weekend! We love this time of year for azaleas blooming, weather warming up, and more fun golf to watch! Of course, making a Master's food menu is my favorite part of the tournament. Here are some of my favorite things to make for Master's weekend - some Southern classics (I see you, pimento cheese!), and some foods that are just really, really good for sports watching.

Collage of recipes for Master's weekend viewing.

We have accidentally created two tiny golfers. I mean, I guess it wasn't strictly an accident - Jay grew up golfing but I never did, and golf is notoriously exclusive, expensive, and never something I thought I'd see as a major part of my life. (no offense, but I stand by it)

And then my kids went to Top Golf one time and the rest was silly, silly history.

Of course, Master's Weekend at Augusta National Golf Club (in 2025 the weekend of April 12!) is the king of all golf tournaments, and every year we host a Master's party with some other golf lovers. The food is HIGHLY important - at Augusta National it's lore, the history and tradition behind Master's food.

At our house, it's more "some Southern stuff and some appetizers and party food we like to make."

Our Best Master's Food

1
Black ceramic plate and blue flowered napkin with pimento cheese sausage balls.
Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls
5 from 8 ratings
Classic southern sausage cheddar balls made with pimento cheese! Just three ingredients, a few minutes in the oven, and we've got ourselves the MOST poppable snack, perfect for tailgating and parties!

2
Small yellow bowl of pimento cheese made without cream cheese.
Seriously Good Pimento Cheese Recipe
5 from 43 ratings
The OG Master's offering! My version of pimento cheese is NOT mayonnaisy at all, and has tons of flavor and a tiny bit of spice. If you think you don't like pimento cheese, give this version a try. Promise! Serve it with crackers or make a classic pimento cheese sandwich - on white bread, please and thank you.

3
Classic Deviled Eggs
5 from 27 ratings
Deviled eggs to me are a little more "this is a party" than egg salad sandwiches, which are served at Augusta national. THAT SAID, you can make a fakeout egg salad sandwich by chopping up deviled eggs, filling and all, and spreading it on bread to make sandwiches. Easy!

The Best Fudge Brownies
Amazing Homemade Brownies

OMG these brownies. They're so, so good, totally foolproof, and a really nice addition to literally any gathering.

Serving dish of strawberry cucumber salad with pickled white onions.
Strawberry Cucumber Salad
5 from 58 ratings
Master's weekend falls right in the middle of strawberry season (at least where we live!), and the berries are AMAZING right now. This salad with cucumbers is absolutely delicious and simple to throw together last minute.

6
cold buffalo chicken salad in white bowl with celery leaves on top.
Cold Buffalo Chicken Salad/Dip
5 from 33 ratings
This is one of my absolute favorite things to make for any sports viewing event. It's perfect as a chicken salad on bread or greens OR as a dip scooped onto crackers. The texture is ideal for both, the flavor is perfect.

7
Easy Homemade Baked Chicken Tenders
5 from 33 ratings
Maybe not a classic Master's offering, but very, very good nonetheless. I love these because they don't need to be fried AND bonus, you can bread them in advance and freeze them on a sheet pan, then keep them frozen in a bag for quick snacks or dinners. Just bake as many as you need right from frozen!

8
Gray ceramic bowl of boiled peanuts with one peanut shell broken to reveal the inside.
Cajun Boiled Peanuts (In the Slow Cooker!)
5 from 35 ratings
The most foolproof boiled peanuts! Full of flavor, and hardly any effort thanks to the slow cooker. You'll love these!

Side view of white bowl with cucumber tuna salad topped with fresh dill.
Cucumber Tuna Salad with Dill
5 from 67 ratings
I love tuna salad at Master's parties because it's classically Southern AND can be used on all the same stuff as the pimento cheese - sandwiches, crackers, you name it!

Platter of veggies and ranch dip for dipping.
Homemade Ranch
4.95 from 72 ratings
Ranch just goes at parties, right? It's SO simple to mix up this version without a packet of seasoning, and add some raw veggies and Ruffles for dipping. It's always a hit!

So, with that, let's get ready for Master's weekend. I'd love for you to leave any suggestions of things we could add to this list!
