Five for Friday

  1. I was defeated by a pop up soccer goal by 9:50am Monday morning, in case you were curious how the week started.
  2. SPEAKING OF SOCCER, we started watching Ted Lasso this week AND enrolled Beck in baby soccer for the fall, so it's just been a really big sports week (lol) all around. We are definitely not soccer people, but maybe will have to become such. Ted Lasso, on the other hand, is the emotional healing we all need and I absolutely can't recommend it enough.
  3. Ok but CAN we agree that Facebook having the Care and Laugh reacts right next to each other is just....not prudent?
  4. Did you see the article about vaccines expiring in the US because they (literally, the Trump administration) ordered enough for us all to have them and then Y'ALL AREN'T TAKING THEM? Seriously. No joke. Please get vaccinated for your own sake and everyone around you. Let's all be healthy and well and use every tool we can to do so.
  5. Whatchoo doing this weekend? It is going to be 95F today so naturally the children are begging to go outside. It's the last weekend before Big Girl School starts, cue a little bit of schedule panic, a little bit of mask panic, and just wowow where'd the summer go. I'm going to make bread and pretend like none of it's happening, seems healthy. Have a great one!
