  1. Oh wow, memories. Re: this image above, chimichurri sauce from one year ago. I remember making this so vividly because we went to my parents' house for an entire weekend while they were out of town to photograph this meal. Our house was on the market and we were just beat down from endless showings + nursing + pumping + Beck being three. But, like, I thought we were beat down then. Anyway. The sauce is amazing and you should make it - it's wonderful for meal prep!
  2. In a very rare win with the home warranty company, we are getting a payout for our dishwasher! They were going to replace it with something we didn't want, so we're taking the money and picking a new one ourselves. Which is a lot of junk to sort through. Tell me about your dishwasher! We want really good drying and a third rack, first and foremost. Any recs or "avoid at all cost"-s?
  3. I made this quinoa cake last weekend because why not, and it was SO good. Result was like a big iced brownie, didn't ~taste~ healthy or gimmicky. Will definitely be making again!
  4. What is the actual issue with oyster sauce packaging, though? It takes forever to come out, gets the lid all junky, and is generally a wonderful product that should be stored in a tube like tomato paste. Not hard.
  5. Happy weekend! We're on the takeout/resting train after cooking a LOT last weekend. It's rained every single day this week so we're excited for some no-rain days and outside time. Have you gone to a pool yet? Our is open but we've avoided, although the kids have been dying to go. Have a great one!
