We Fell for Greenville

Published: Oct 17, 2011 Last Updated: Jul 2021 by Lindsay This post may contain affiliate links to products I use and enjoy. Leave a Comment

This weekend our small city in South Carolina had it's annual food/wine/entertainment festival, Fall for Greenville.  It's a great event that lasts all weekend, and we were lucky to go all three days!  The food, rides, drinks, bands, and PEOPLE were fabulous to entertain and observe (people watching after several beers with a comedian?  Not too shabby), and we can't wait for next year!

This is what our walk downtown looked like!

And here are the masses that awaited us once we got there. We met up with our bff's....

...and had a rousing discussion about what we'd say to these folks:

Winners and front runners were: "what do you think about abortion? do you know what happened to JFK? I swear, there are NOT as many white people here as there were last year. Do you think the gays should be allowed to get married?"  This digressed into many giggles and thoughts about what these poor kids would do if we took them up on their offer of free conversation.  Luckily for them, we left them alone.

Does anyone know what this character is?

We saw people getting rides...

And people riding rides.  This looked terrifying!

We ate Indian food...

And you KNOW what my favorite tent was.

Jay, former D-list celebrity that he is, met up with some old friends.

We marveled at the fashion that we aren't cool enough to pull off...

And very sneakily took pictures of other people's cute families and kids.

Holy cow.  My ovaries hurt.

And late in the night, after food, beer, bands, and babies, we played in the street with our friends...

And the former D-list comedian kissed me in the middle of the dang road! Ew.

And then he did this.

How far we fell, indeed.  I just try to remember the good times.

Ahhhhhh....
