We had a snow day!  20160123_103022(0)-01

While the rest of the East Coast was getting totally blanketed in snow, we were getting our yearly max of 1-3 inches of snow mixed with some nice solid ice.  People either were off or home early on Friday, and then Saturday morning we had pretty snow to play in!

Naturally we took the opportunity to bundle Beck up and take her out to show her the majesty of taking tons of pictures for the internet in the snow without actually doing much playing in the snow.  20160123_103759-01

Being a millennial is so strange.  20160123_102957-01

My sister lives about a mile away and lost power really early on Saturday, so she came to stay and get lots of baby snuggles and cute snow pictures.  20160123_103343-01

Jay got one sled down the street, then we trekked to the grocery store for burger ingredients.  20160123_103606-01

As an ode to our daughter we bought Beck's beer - I drank a ton of the non-alcoholic stuff when I was pregnant (gross), and we got the light 64-calorie kind without really looking at the bottles.  20160123_103235-01

It's less than 3% alcohol by volume.  What is even the POINT?  20160123_102951-01

So we spent the day eating burgers and drinking water beer and watching TV.  We had an epic three hour nap and nursed our little faces off, and by 3pm it was 38 degrees and the snow was about 50% melted.  20160123_103020(0)-01

But we got our snow day, and it was glorious. 20160123_104415-01

The end.
