We had a wedding shower last weekend!

Earlier in that day, Jay had a momentary freak out when he realized that the party was FOR us, we weren't just guests. He of course had a great time, but it definitely led to some funny conversations about all this wedding stuff. 
People, like, actually like us and want to do nice things for us and buy us gifts?!!?
One or both of us said that throughout the evening. The event was so much fun, and the girls were EXCELLENT hosts - people told us all week what a great time they had at the party!
That's the fun thing about this whole engagement thing. People say they want to do something, and then with very little effort on our part a bunch of people who love us a lot are in one room, and we LOVE IT. We love watching our families get to know each other, and it's a blast introducing friends who might otherwise never meet.
That's, girls! We were honored to be the recipients of such generosity.
