Instructions
Combine the garbanzo beans, water, salt, and dressing in a food processor. Process for 3-5 minutes until very smooth. Taste and add more salt, water, or tahini sauce if you'd like.
This can also be made with storebought tahini sauce, so easy and yummy!
Notes
To maximize my food processor time, I make the lemon tahini dressing first, then scoop it into a jar and add the garbanzos/other ingredients right in the food processor. Then I'm left with extra dressing and hummus but only have to wash the food processor once!This hummus is also the perfect base for spiced beef with pine nuts, and as a part of a larger mediterranean hummus board!
