OUR WEDDING PICTURES ARE HERE!!!
Want to Read Later?
Actually, we got them two weeks ago.
Then we realized that there were about 9,000, and spent several nights scrolling through them on the couch, drinking wine, and remembering funny details about our wedding. We're still fully obsessed with the day, and are SO STINKING EXCITED that we have proof that we actually got married.
Besides our memories and marriage license, but whatevs. We have pictures of that too!**
Everyone said when we were waiting on pictures that we'd end up with so many that we wouldn't know what to do, and to not worry about not having any good ones. THEY WERE TOTES RIGHT. Seriously - not only did our photographer, Michelle, take some insane pictures, she edited all the good ones in several different filters, so now I not only have to choose good pictures, from the good pictures I have to choose which version is best.
So, see you all in six months. If you need me, you know what I'll be doing.
I won't trouble you with all 4,593 pictures she gave us, but I do want to share some of the best ones, in a few increments, so that you're not bombarded with every detail of my life all at once. That might be a bit much. One thing that I love about Michelle is her style of editing and finding backdrops that are earthy and soft and kind of sexy without being overt.
So, because I'm shy and can't handle showing you pictures of myself yet, let's look at some of the no-people pictures, mmkay? They're some of my favorites. This is what happens when people who aren't used to wearing heels wear REALLY AWESOME high heels.
I LOVED our reception site. It was the perfect blend of so so pretty and classic but also rustic enough for my mountain man.
The venue folks did a great job making everything look super duper gorge, and our flowers went really well with the look and feel we were trying to create.
What a funny thing about weddings, isn't it? You kind of have a vision, but sort of change your mind a lot, and then at some point you just cross your fingers and hope everything works out! It did, in our case, and that's a good thing, because if the flowers hadn't gone with the linens I would have LOST IT.
Syke.
SPEAKING of Michelle, it's her birthday today! She's turning awesomer. If you live in the Greenville area you're DEFINITELY going to want to hire her for every single one of your photographic needs from here on out. Read her blog, go to her website, and like her on Facebook. Please. For her birthday.
Check out more pictures below, and GET READY for some humans as soon as I get the guts up. Or just get ready for lots of pictures that I'm not in. It's so much fun reliving different parts of the day and congratulating ourselves for not melting down because REALLY none of it mattered, and it was all perfect.
Have a wonderful weekend!
**Family. Yes, I have pictures of you. No, there is no website. Email me and allow an appropriate amount of time for me to answer. Don't print pictures from Facebook, they're compressed for optimal web viewing and won't be as pretty. I'll send you big versions. I love you.

Geez! You should have been a reporter like Addie. That was a great tease! Beautiful venue, but I am anxiously awaiting the pictures of the happy couple. Can 't wait to see them!
