To The City!

Yo.

You can email this post to yourself (or anyone else!), so you can come back to it later!

It's NYC day!

My mom and I are travelling there together to see my sister and I'm working on a show on Saturday night at Carnegie Hall (!!).

I'm SO excited, so sad to be away from Beck, and exhausted because I woke up at 4am to catch our flight. Jay is rockstar dadding it (same as I rockstar mom it, being alone with toddler and job is hard for anyone) with help from both of Beck's grandfathers, and I'm only 20% worried that she'll sever her spine at the hands of all the men in her life. I feel 80% awesome about the family we have that supports us in our work and play.

While we're gone! I'd love to know any NYC recommendations you have. Free stuff to do, great food and drinks, all of it. We will literally be EVERYWHERE, so location does not matter. Tell me where to go! I'll be posting our adventures on Instagram, would love for you to follow along and leave recs there as well!

Also, if you need weekend inspiration, I'm obsessed with this roasted pork with tomatoes and whole garlic cloves. It's super simple to make but really screams weekend + fall to me. We've been making it for years and it really never gets old.

Enjoy!
