Soup and a Poll

Last Updated: Apr 2014 by Lindsay This post may contain affiliate links to products I use and enjoy. Leave a Comment

Funny because poll kind of rhymes with bowl and you eat soup in a bowl?IMG_0558

Anyway.  Tuesday.  Its raining and chilly here and I'm seeing on the social medias that it's SNOWING some places?

Go home April, you're drunk.  IMG_1005

Since it's grody grody GRODY, I think you should make some soup because just YES.  I love lighter soups this time of year when it's chilly but also you might be thinking that looking not so lumpy in a bathing suit might be ok?

Maybe.

Let's start with what I have in my fridge at the moment, because I know you care so much.  I have some of this mushroom soup that I LOVE so much because the thickness comes from the 'shrooms, so we aren't adding a ton of extra calories. IMG_0545

Also a version of this fish chowder is all up in there, made extra special because I found some lobster base on clearance at Publix and JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH.  I know I'm all diy with the stocks all the time, but durn some fake flavor can be really good sometimes.  Soup overhead

If you want something a leetle hardier, I LOVE  and can't get enough of this chicken chili.  We make it all the time, and the roasted poblanos are JUST special enough to make this all kinds of wonderful.

If you don't like mushrooms or seafood or beans, this lemon chicken soup with roasted garlic is just EPIC.  My sister was sick last week and now I'm thinking that if I was nicer I'd have made her some?  I didn't.  Happy siblings day whenever that was?IMG_1014

So we have our soup.  Curl up with a bowl and help me now, please.  I want to know what you guys want to write about.  We've been doing this fun little bloggy for awhile, and it's evolved (thank goodness, especially in the photography department), but I want to know what you like!  The wedding series was super popular last year, so I'm thinking maybe you like personal stuff, but since we got married and aren't preggo (or trying, stop asking, I'll call you, don't call us, all that) I feel like maybe we don't have any interesting stories to share?  Then sometimes I rant about yoga and equal rights and stuff, so if you like that you can tell me that too.  Or maybe we should just write about food every day?  TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS.  Really.  Because, while I love sharing random thoughts with you every day, I'd also like to write about things you like!  So tell me.

Happy Tuesday!  Feel free to elaborate on what you enjoy reading the most in the comments section.  I adore comments.
