A big hug from austria! What happened to your eye?

I'm hoping it just got irritated from long days in contacts. Its been bad for 24 hours, so hopefully it isn't something that will stick around long!

The right antibiotic eye drops will fix that! Photo made me laugh, though I'm not laughing at you. So sorry for that. Hope your eye is looking much more beautiful next time (there will a comparison shot, right?).

It was definitely funny to see me clamoring around blind for two days! I think it was a contact issue, but it is getting better now. 🙂

Do you have medical insurance? Eye health problems fall under medical, not vision. Either way, get it checked. It's a peripheral corneal ulcer, get it treated and quit over-wearing your contacts. (I am an eye doctor)

Oh, see your eye doc, not medical doc, or it may get mis-treated. You can't give a corneal ulcer to anyone, not contageous.

This is my first instance of receiving medical advice from invisible internet people. 🙂 thank you!

No problem. You can see the ulcer in the photo. The hazy white dot toward the periphery of the cornea overlying the colored part of the eye. It's either an ulcer or dense infiltrate. The eye doc will be able to tell the difference. Usually from over wearing/sleeping in contacts. It will clear up fast with the right drops.

Hmm. I see the white dot! It isn't on my eye though...its the picture! Just the angle of the light in the picture and glasses. That's good, yes?

I hope it is just the reflection, but go get it checked anyway. Now that you know it is medical, not vision, that should help the finances 🙂

I had no idea! I thought all optometry costs were vision.
