That's it, really. I hope you're having a lovely holiday week. Being a food blogger/cater means that I haven't stopped working for three days, but after these next few creations and dishes that follow I'm DONE. Until Thursday. When I start again.
Not a bad way to spend the holidays, I think.
In other news, the fast and easy fudge is a HUGE hit. Huge. Really. I'm not a big sweets person, but the recipe I used for the batch I showed you is WONDERFUL, stays smooth for days in the fridge, and has a great flavor. If you need anything last minute to make in these next few days PLEASE make this. It's really lovely.
I really want to use half peanut butter chips next time, but that's another story.
Tonight I'm going to see my sister sing at her church (if I get all this food done, fingers crossed!), and then to dinner with my parents and church all together at our home church. We eat appetizers on Christmas eve. What do you eat?
Then tomorrow SANTA'S COMING! I know him. I wished for lots of technology related things because I'm in the process of making an at-home office because my office office isn't going to be where I work anymore after this week.
Big life changes. More in a few days.
Have a beautiful holiday, guys, even if you just sit in your pjs and watch movies and eat fudge and drink wine. That sounds PERFECT to me. I might make my family do that.
