Last week, in a fit of.....something....I posted some pictures of some of my favorite recent food on our Facebook page.
A fit of liking food? I don't know.
One of the pictures that got a little bit of attention was the picture of these sweet-ass sliders that I've made for showers, a wedding, you name it!
They're great, and perfect every time.
The thing is, though, that you could do SO MUCH with the pulled pork - I'd definitely make a lot of it and use it for a few weeks! It freezes REALLY well, too, so that's even more of a reason to cook a buttload of it!
In class last week I told some friends how I should have brought them some pork because class is at 6pm and we were all starving and my friend Cole said "do you have ANY idea how much I love pulled pork? What is WRONG with you?" Um, no, Cole, I don't know much about your eating preferences. My b.
Anyway. What I mean is, people like pulled pork, and you should make this for them.

Here are some other things you could do with this:
- Make your own barbecue sauce, or use your favorite jarred variety for a barbecue night!
- Add 1 tablespoon of cumin to the rest of the seasonings before you cook the pork and serve it shredded with cabbage in tacos.
- Shred it into large pieces and serve it over salad with tortilla chips and your own salsa.
- Serve a heap of it in a baked potato with cilantro, sour cream, and broccoli on the side.
OH, and here's another thing. You could make the pork in a slow cooker if you'd like to come home to barbecue! It'll be great after 8 hours on low - just skim off the fat, shred, and go to town.
Of course, the sliders are always perfect for a party, or a weeknight when you feel like being fun and having small food, which is cuter than regular sized food, isn't it?

This keeps wonderfully, like I said, so the next time you have 3 hours to watch TV while pork roasts, make a big batch of this, freeze and fridge it in small portions, and relish in how lovely make-ahead meats are.
Now, what else could we do with this? I've got about 10 lbs in my freezer.
