Five for Friday

Vegan Lemon Tahini Dressing
  1. I know you saw the shortcut hummus from a few days ago, but the lemon tahini dressing that goes in it also got a major facelift this week! It's one of the most popular older recipes on my site and is SOGOOD to have in your fridge for meal prep. Make both this weekend!
  2. Speaking of, the food processor I use can go in the dishwasher and that's pretty much all you need to know about that. I got mine over 6 years ago at Bed/Bath/Beyond (remember shopping?) and have been super happy with it.
  3. Re: salads. I NEVER put sliced carrots on mine. Do you? They're too much. Shredded carrots are fine, but honestly who wants to get out the grater to grate a carrot. I love cooked carrots, but raw I could take or leave. Discuss.
  4. Remember five million years ago in January when we were all like "ohhh new decade, 2020 is such a nice round number!!!" Damn.
  5. Weekend! This one is a little bit sad for us, my youngest sister has been here for 3 months quarantining and is leaving. She's fully ready to get back to her adult life, but I'm slightly devastated because having an extra social human (no offense, Jay) around has been SO great. BUT we are celebrating releasing her back into the wild with yummy takeout and a cookout and rose so, sad but fun. Have a wonderful weekend!
