- An unexpected uber-hit these last few weeks has been ^^braised chicken thighs with leeks + lemon garlic butter sauce. It's not SURPRISING, obviously, given the sauce, and I'm thrilled to see an older recipe having a new hayday! It's one of our favorites.
- It's the end of week 3-ish at home for most people, and I'm vaguely into a routine now. I have a pretty big list of things I'd like to ADD back to my schedule (virtual yoga, alone time), but I find my psyche not fighting our current reality as much as it was yesterday.
- Something I do fight, though, is that Beck's wonderful brain has developed into its ability to START LYING. Perfect timing! Last week she helped herself to some sugar, it got everywhere, and when I freaked out because I hate the feeling of a gritty floor (because I am a human) she legit told me it was Will. Spoiler alert, it was not. Fun times.
- If you watch my Insta stories you know that I have a few pots and pans that I'm looking to replace - hard anodized saucepans that have lasted for a long time and have started to lose their coating. I actually like nonstick and besides going all the way to stainless steel I'm falling between some Greenpan ones or Scanpan. Would LOVE to know your thoughts, what you use in your kitchen, etc. This will replace our pasta pot and a smaller pot that we use for oatmeal and rice.
- How's your weekend planning going? We are getting local takeout tonight which means the kitchen will be CLEAN for at least 90 minutes, ha, and of course finishing Tiger King because we are sheep. Are you watching anything wonderful at the moment? Have a great one!
