  1. At 7:50 am I texted Jay to see if we could go ahead and start planning our Friday night at home please and thank you. We're going to have grilled chicken thighs using the sauce from the Korean Rice Bowls that we make all the time. I'm also thinking some kind of chili garlic-based slaw? Maybe quinoa? I also want to go to bed at 9:30pm and am v excited about the whole thing.
  2. On stopping jealousy. I love how this is written from such a simple, mindful place. Stepping outside of our own emotions rather than allowing them to run/ruin our lives can be so powerful.
  3. We are having YET ANOTHER open house this weekend, in the house that defies statistical probability on not selling. We have had zero negative comments, more than 50 showings, and no offers. Why. How. I'd be all in if people were like "doesn't show well, v dirty, smells like curry" or any number of other things, but everyone is all "love this, want a garage" or some other unchangeable thing. ANYWAY. I'm fine. If you know of anyone looking for a house in Greenville, SC I'd love to send you the listing! Seriously. Help me. And also people keep asking "can't you just buy something else and pay both mortgages for awhile?" Is that a commonly attainable thing? I feel like only being able to own one house at a time isn't necessarily a mark of failure, but what do I know.
  4. We bought a cold brew coffee dealio this week and I'm super duper into it. I was skeptical, but the taste is REALLY different from hot coffee that just...has ice in it. Highly recommend if you are into cold coffee but not into paying $5/pop for it. Also my internet glitched and Amazon recorded the order twice aka charged me twice aka sent me two, so my brother in law bought the second one from us literally hours after it arrived and it just feels very quaint and special to be coffee twins, I love you Ben.
  5. Besides the open house! We have a great weekend planned. I'm making a fun fancy dinner for my mother in law's birthday, we're having lunch with some other family on Sunday, and Beck is getting her nails done with her cousin like a big girl and is highly excited. Have a great one!
