Five for Friday

  1. Attempting a kid photoshoot in bad light on Monday morning, but they were both being so cute. And then this action shot. I shared it on my Insta story, would love for you to follow and see more! Of this artistry, clearly.
  2. Best Pork Tenderloin recipe! Don't mind if I do.
  3. The other day I was getting ready to go somewhere not important and Beck goes 'MAMA COME DRAW WITH ME!' so of course I took a million years to do so because honestly I don't like drawing and then I did and she goes 'DRAW OUR FAMILY' and I say OK cool, what should I draw, and she said 'YOUR BLUE BREAST PUMP' because apparently that's a member of our family now. I'm fine. It's fine. Everything is fine.
  4. Similarly, we have had to implement some consequences for behavior recently (refusing to potty in a power struggle vs not having to go, etc), and Beck has now been offering US consequences. Including, but not limited to: "Mama, if you don't get me a snack RIGHT NOW, you will have a consequence. I will TAKE your breast pump!" I'm fine. It's fine. Everything is fine.
  5. We're in the path of whatever monsoon this is, so our weekend is going to very intentionally going to involve a lot of tv and cooking comfort food and no, we have not sold our house yet. But I'm thinking, like, lobster rolls. Or lobster pasta. Or steak. On top of lobster pasta. Have a great one!
