Behind The Scenes

This is our life.

Me on a chair, preggo belly all intrusive (due three months from today! everything looking good so far!), Beck wanting to "help" with pictures but not allllways sure how besides eating things before I'm done with them.

This picture is from the batch of the peanut butter energy bites I wrote about that we've been making almost once weekly. If you haven't made them yet, do! They take five minutes and are SO good.

I'm trying to absorb all this cuteness before school starts in a few weeks, a phrase that we haven't said yet but here it is! I'm so excited for Beck and at two mornings a week don't anticipate missing her all that much, no offense first child who takes up all of my time and money and thoughts. I'm trying so hard to soak her all up these last few weeks at home and last few months as the only kid - I think sometimes we get so absorbed in projects and working toward things (we're working on potty training! sleeping in a big girl bed! paying off debt! organizing the house! preparing for the holidays!) that we don't enjoy the transitions to those new states of being.

So I'm working on that.

I'm medium at it.

Have a great day!
