It's going to snow today!
Which is totally weird because I was in Florida all weekend and it was 55 degrees yesterday at 9am when I left there.
BUT it's freezing here, and so yesterday when I got home I immediately started cooking. Something about battening down the hatches, maybe? There were shortribs involved.
So, in case you're somewhere super duper cold and/or you're stuck in your house, here are some things you should make.
Pot Roast. I've got a classic and Italian version on this website, but you can actually combine both and use a slow cooker...YES.
Vegetarian chili is a great bet if you're not into meat, and it makes the house smell ridiculously good.
For some reason, when we get snowed in we eat breakfast more than if we're racing from one thing to another. Not good, I know, but this banana bread is one of my favorite recipes ever. It's super healthy, too!
I have a gazillion soups that I'm obsessed with, but I really like this tomato soup with shrimp or without if you can't find any!
What else should I cook this week? I'm thinking....cream on top of meat on top of cheese with bread for dunking. Or something.
