I don't like snacks in bags though. Or boxes. I like to make my own. It's a food snob thing.

Here's one of my favorites - there aren't any process pictures because you're a grown up and I didn't want to insult your intelligence.

For ONE slice of bread, here's what you need (you'll want to make more than one, trust me):
- 1 slice crusty bread
- 1 small pat butter
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon drained chopped sundried tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon crumbled feta cheese
Ok so here's how it goes. You preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium-high heat with the butter. When the butter melts, add the bread and flip it around so both sides have some butter on them. Sprinkle the bread with salt and pepper, too!
Flip the bread around a few times until it's nice and crispy on both sides and still chewy in the middle. That's the best kind of bread-grillin', people.
To serve, I like to put the basil, torn, into the center of a plate or bowl with the tomatoes, feta, and a few drizzles of olive oil. Add some more salt and pepper if you'd like too!
Then, I dunk the bread in the lovely cheese/herb/tomato mixture and try not to make 8 more slices of grilled bread because it's so dang good.
Perfect for a snack, light lunch, or with a salad for dinner!
