I promised you the best cake in the world, and here it is!
My mom, and now me, have been making this for years and years - I think the recipe originally came from my dad's mother.
It's delicious, and not nearly as unhealthy as it tastes!
Here's how you make it:
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 t. baking soda
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1/4 t. salt
- 2 jars (4.5 oz each)baby food prunes, or pitted prunes pureed with water
- 2 t. vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. skim milk
- 1 c. hot coffee
