HELLO AND HOW ARE WE DOING?

Sorry to yell. I miss friends.

How are we doing on internet shopping during these times? Obviously not great with toilet paper and household staples, but you know what I mean.

One great thing that I've noticed in this first week we've been home is that we have more time to read! Will is just at the stage where he'll sit through some books, and Beck will read literally as long as she has an adult to read with her. Usually we read books to each of them before naps and bedtime, but I love these larger chunks of time for reading our favorite baby and preschool books.

We have lots of tried and true kid favorites and we usually love going to the library, but now are starting to explore kid online options via our library app now that the libraries are closed and we aren't taking the kids anywhere.

Here are ten of our favorite baby and preschool books!

  1. Close Your Eyes
  2. Olivia
  3. Fancy Nancy (literally all of them)
  4. Are You My Mother?
  5. The Very Hungry Caterpillar
  6. Ten Nine Eight
  7. Goodnight Yoga
  8. Betty Bunny Loves Chocolate Cake
  9. Giraffes Can't Dance
  10. A Ball for Daisy

Writing this list made me realize that I should have made it a 50 book list but, alas. I'd love to know some other books that you love! We're always on the hunt for new forever-favorites.

Lots of these come in board books or paper options, and I always go board books. With great stories, it's not like the structure of the book itself can be outgrown, but if the book isn't a board book, then a lot more supervision is required, and quarantine is not the time for that supervising one's children. Nope.

PS if you're prepping for a shower or to give birth, I have lots of baby gear lists!

None of these are sponsored, just books that we love. There are some affiliate links! If you don't use amazon, shop local where you can!
